It was on Starwars. First or second movie I think. They put a tube looking thing in their mouth while underwater to breathe underwater. My question is, would it be possible to do that ...show more

An Israeli company called Like-A-Fish technology claims to have developed a system that does just that. Of course the unit is much larger than the fictional mouth-sized device used in Star Wars, but supposedly the technology to extract dissolved AIR (not oxygen) from water in sufficient quantities for a human to breathe is being developed and improved upon.
