How can i download yahoo messenger version 8 or other than version 9?

Yahoo Messenger 9 will not work on my pc, where/how do I download an older version?

  If you don't install the 9.0 messenger correctly, it will not work. It has to be Run as the Administrator. I think if you Right click on the file, you will be able to Run as Administrator. If that is all too confusing you can,,, Do this,,,, Click on Start Button/ Settings/ Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs. DUMP anything that says Yahoo Messenger (toolbar, address book etc etc etc) they will be listed at the bottom of that window if there are any), and go to this website,,,,, http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=... type in Yahoo Messenger (at the bottom of the page in the Google search bar, make sure the dot is in the www.oldversion.com option, hit Search click on the first link under the Web results (it will take you to the Older Version site, scroll down and you can see where you can pick which one YOU want), I PERSONALLY SUGGEST THE 7.0.
