Does anyone believe that we take on the karma of those we have sex with?

Answer:
That's a great question! Karma is a Sanskrit word that means "action." Karma has commonly been considered a punishment for past bad actions, but karma is neither judge nor jury. Rather, it is simply the universal law of cause and effect that says every thought, word and act carries energy into the world and affects our present reality. Karma can also refer to the "work" we have ahead of us, which includes lessons from both our past and present lives. I can understand why this would concern you, but essentially I believe if the person you're with is doing mean things it ). I have considered this once before when I was dating a guy that would do things like send his employee's home early, knowing they had a family to provide for and that would reduce their pay because of the short hours. Good luck

Doubtful... in this case "what goes around comes around" may just mean you get preggo... which is kind of funny and ironic
That's what SHE said
You may not pick up their karma, but you do tend to pick up their energy, especially if you've been with them on a consistent basis.

What is karma? Is it a theory? Where does it come from? Perhaps it has been derived from the real physical observation of cause and effect: the observation that physical objects are effected by causality? Is the Psyche physical and static, or does it change constantly? Karma is taking this physical causality and extending it to become psychological causality. Whilst physical constants can be quantified, isn't the psyche is always moving, so why do we assume what applies to static objects can work for moving ones? For instance: I met you yesterday, and you were in a fowl mood! Can I expect you to still be in that mood a day later? Newtons laws were not enough to explain our universe, because they were deterministic, but the world is not deterministic, which is why quantum theory was required. Some things at some scales act deterministically, but allot of things cannot be predicted, which is terrifying to a human mind that has to know! Why does it have to know? With the theory of karma, what is it we are trying to explain? 1) Revenge 2) Freak random events 3) Any bad luck one has 4) The bad luck anybody else has in terms of what they have done to others. Now sir: look what has happened! Karma has become the solution, but what was the problem? The problem is that our minds want to have an explanations, and are not happy without them! Karma has been invented (taken from the physical laws connecting matter, and applied to the psyche), so that human minds can have events explained. That means the human mind is not satisfied with the unknown, and is that because it is scared of dieing? So you see another person get killed! You say to yourself: "that's ok, because its a result of his karma", do you want to distance yourself from the reality that getting killed is just around the corner? Also perhaps the other consequence of the illusion of karma, is the belief that if you behave according to some ''code of ethics", then you get rewarded in the next life? What next life? The imagined one? We can see the consequence of karma: a bunch of people who believe in it are running around always trying to be ''better'', always trying to reach some standard they have set themselves, and never worrying about reaching those standards because there is another life coming. Isn't it so ironic, that their whole lives are seeking to become something, and that seeking has invented karma, which allows the seeking to extend beyond death? Are our ideas inventing more ideas to avoid reality of death? Reincarnation is karma's younger brother, in that reincarnation is an extension of the karma theory. Lets look at what we can observe: We are going to die, and we know not what happens after our body shuts down. Therefore: we have no objective knowledge of an afterlife and no matter how hard we try in life, everything we do here (mentally) is going to die with us. So: if we are going to die, why don't we accept this? Why do we always run away from this, into the world of ideas and theories? What joy has it ever brought us? If I accept death, then I am already dead to yesterday, and today is fresh and new. If I run from death, today continues from yesterday, and I'm still seeking to avoid reality, seeking to become better! What if in the process of seeking, you found that seeking was the problem? If you stopped seeking to be better, what would happen?

I believe you do, but only if you've met your soulmate or someone you definitely have some sort of karmic bond with. I've met mine, and I have to say that in some forms I believe I have actually taken on his karma. Someone else said something about energy, and that I also agree with. It's not something you can do with literally everyone you have sexual contact with. It's one person in particular. And when it happens, trust me, you'll know.

I dont understand what you mean??

Yes I do and Karma doesn't have special time to strike on someone.Later or sooner in the life we all have to pay for our karma.Good or bad.Doesn't matter.
Are u honest?
I'm not sure, I never thought about it. It is something to think about though, interesting question!

I can't say I've noticed, and no I do not believe we do, only in true passion maybe I feel we are one.
