    There might be 2 problems: 1) the "better" of the 2 problems. the battery might have died. you just need to replace the battery. to my knowledge i believe you can purchase a galaxy s2 battery on ebay for around $20-$30. a genuine samsung battery. 2) the phone itself has died. something in the circuit might have shorted or the hardware just stopped working. The phone came out around early 2011 so 3 years of consistent use could have taken its toll. if you dont want to risk buying a new battery, take it a tech savvy person you know. I hope it is just the battery! that way you wont have to get a new phone!
