Where are good places to volunteer?

Where are some good places to volunteer?

  • I'm 16. I really want to volunteer in my community and make a difference in people's lives. Any ideas on where?

  • Answer:

You Should check out: http://www.volunteermatch.org/. This is where I turned to when I needed to find a fun place to volunteer in high school. They have various types of activities from working at fun museums, cleaning parks, helping the elderly, or working with children or animals. It will give u various community service opportunities for ur area and the required age to work at every place. Check it out! Hope this helps! :)

Nursing Homes are a excellent place to start, or Meals on Wheels (that deliver hot meals to the elderly and disabled), your local YMCA, or you can start your own help center and provide services such as errand running, yard work, hauling junk, there are many people in need of someone who gives a care. People who are ill, can't work, can't get out, and don't have much money.
