Where is the starter located on ford trucks?

Where, exactly, is the starter located on a 1996 ford contour 2.0liter engine. Please send diagrams !!?

    The starter is in back of the motor mounted to holes in the transmission (hince the link telling you to remove all kind of stuff) I'm a pro and it's not a fun one..basically it comes out the bottom, but the bolts are on top and the wires you have to get from the bottom...

Easiest way is to go to this web page. If you have a shop replace it, you will have labour warranty as well. One starter I had shop replaced even got me 1 year roadside assistance included.
