    depends were u are..... and how long uve been there, cos if uve just been there a few weeks then transfering shouldnt be a problem cos people are still getting themselves on the right course..... but longer.... others will probs be full up......... you could drop out compleatly.....but then you will stil have to pay topup fees, and miss a year of education..........

people transfer all the time...the thing is it depends on the school. check with a guidance counselor from the first university you plan on going to and then with a counselor from the one you want to transfer to.

It is unlikely that you can transfer after one quarter. For one thing -- your grades won't be available to the new school until you are ready to start the new one.

It really depends on the college, talk to the admissions office at the college you want to transfer to and ask them if that is acceptable. Also, some colleges don't honor the credits you earn in your classes at a different college. Make sure the college you want to transfer to will give you the credits you earned at your current college on your transcript and make sure it counts toward your degree!

Hi, I went to a University and transfered to another college. My old university worked in semesters...I finished that off and went to another college in their winter quarter. You should find out if your university goes by quarters and if the other one does too...Ask your guidance counselor, it depends. =)

Ir depends on the college you're transferring TO. Check with the school you want to go to and see what they require. Some schools require you stay at your first college TWO years, not just one.
