Can I transfer credits from a Brazilian University to the US?

Can you transfer to a you university if you have 90 credits and the universities maximum credits is 60 credit?

    If that's the rule there is nothing much you can do about it. And form what I can gather it is a rule at a a fair number of (but far from all) schools. However plenty of schools dont have a rule like that - why not transfer there? Something in the back of my mind however tells me there is an out as far as UC's are concerned. If I remember correctly providing those credits were from a CC in California they will accept you with 90 credits. The UC's are all good schools - I would go there. Then I would do post-grad on the east coast. Thanks Bill
