  You seem to suggest that all asylum seekers are not genuine. This is totally incorrect. Many are genuinely fleeing persecution and death like the Jews from Germany and Austria in the 1930s and the Ugandan Asians in the 1960s and many more since. Immigrants are not a problem, but mainly the inane prejudice against them. Immigration and Emigration has been a fact of life in virtually every developed country in the world since the 1950s and many people from all over the world were begged to come to Britain and Europe, to fill the huge Labour shortages that existed from the end of the second world war until the 1990s
