What if the credit card and ID do not match for the hotel check in?

So i am going to vegas with my dad and i paid with my credit card, but my dad has to check in because you gotta be 21 to check in and i am only 20.. & the credit card is under my name ...show more

The card has to match the person doing the reservation -or- the card holder has to be there. It's to prevent credit card fraud. In your case, as long as the room is in his name and you are there to present ID showing that you are the legal holder of the card you will be fine. If your dad was going there alone with your card...then he's poop out of luck.
