What Amp and head unit paired with this sub?

I hooked up an Alpine type r 12, pioneer amp, to an alpine head unit amp turns on no sound from sub?

    yeah try looking through all the menus on your deck and look for one called subwoofer....make sure it is "on" not "off"....had this same problem one time...

Don't know which head u have but on the Alpine 9800series you have to turn the sub on.
