How can I fix a car CD player that keeps skipping, without using a laser cleaner CD?

I have a 01 Mazda Millenia, and the cd player skips. I've even tried brand new CDs, and it'll skip. Is there anyway to solve this problem? I've tried using a laser head ...show more

try to rebalance the player it might have got knocked out of whack if thats not it try cleaning cd's
