How can I add extension to browser from ExtJs application?

What are the ways to code a browser add-on application?

I wanted to try and build a add-on to store passwords in encrypted format and reproduce to auto-fill too. Please provide where i could learn to code such applications. Also it would really help if i could get some help on deploying applications made in python. Like making a doubleclick runnable app, or as i asked browser addon or mobile app. Let me know if i need to be more clear in asking the question

For Browser addons you mostly use javascript,html and css. For deploying python script as binary executable try http://cx-freeze.sourceforge.net/ or py2exe
