I'm traveling to Spain in May?

Im traveling to spain and only have 10kg luggage allowance is it possible?

  • Answer:

it's possible with careful packing and also depends how much you need in the way of winter clothing. Do indeed wear the heavy stuff and don't take a wheeled suitcase, find a lightweight but strong bag that doesn't use up half the allowance on its own. much easier in summer when things are lighter!

I suppose it also depends on how long you are going to Spain for. Don't forget that your case or bag will weigh a kg or two empty before you've even put anything in it. It's possible but you will have to travel very lightly indeed. Spain is far from third world so you can buy toiletries and such like when you get there or pack some small travel size bottles etc. Superdrug do a good range of them. I've done long weekend breaks to Spain and if memory serves the lightest my case has been is 12kg. It's all part of the Ryan Air scam. They provide you with a baggage allowance that is bordering on the useless for all but the shortest trips in the knowledge that many people will have to pay the extra charges for a real world practical baggage allowance.

You must be with Ryan Air right?. That's the price you pay for cheap seats. It is seats only plus 10kg hand luggage. if you want to take a suitcase you can but you will have to pay for it. Who cares anyway, buy some new t shirts and a pair of shorts in Spain.
