  i know you said sites don't work for you but have you tried picnik.com, a lot of people i know use it and it works really well. i use it myself on occasion. if you don't want to use that site i use a photo editing system called photofiltre, it's really simple and there are tutorials on youtube so you can figure out what you are doing. you can download it at http://photofiltre.en.softonic.com/ i use it all of the time. in order to get fancy text for your computer there are some really nice fonts for you to download at dafont.com. you can search youtube for a tutorial on how to save the different fonts to your computer. The fonts are all free and they are also virus-free, i download fonts from there all of the time. i hope this helps. (:
