    London is amazing, but not cheap - prices are comparable to New York I'd say. London is the shopping capital of the world (according to Forbes 100 anyway), has loads of nightclubs, beautiful views & is a stunning mix of old & new. Hope you've got adequate funding - it's horribly expensive, and unless you live in student ' halls of residence' or come from a wealthy family, you'll be living in student ' digs' or a shared house/ flat that's scruffy/ neglected, in a not - very - nice area ( maybe unsafe ) even when I was there, on a student grant, about 40 years ago, I had to sell some of my things and model for life class to enable me to eat ( beans on toast ) Some lifestyle, lol ! Happy days ...

am not from london, and college isnt what you think in uk, college is were u go for the day / week and return home at the end of the day, like school but harder, Univesity is were you have your own place to stay etc, altho london is a big city so i think ull find it ok, quite average rate with money too and nice night life too
