Can I use my cell phone's Mp3 player while on a cruise ship?

You should really call your provider and ask and make a note of what they say and when. It shouldn't because the mp3's are stored locally in the memory on the phone. But who really knows. I have no idea what kind of phone you have. You're phone might have an "offline" profile which allows you to access features without using any phone services. That might be in your manual. In any case I'd be careful because I've even heard of stories of people being gouged when they are on a ship in the port at Miami. Phone companies are the devil.
