  I wouldn't waste my money on an intermediate trumpet. Typically one goes from a beginner trumpet to a pro horn. The differences between a beginner horn and an intermediate are pretty insignificant. Definitely not worth the expense. I assume you need it to be silver as that is what the band requires. If silver is not a requirement, then you should choose based on sound, not colour. The silver coated horns tends to sound brighter. Save your money and wait to upgrade to a pro horn. If you insist you have to get a new silver horn, then check out Craigslist and eBay and find yourself a used pro horn for the price of a new intermediate horn.The standard pro horn that is the workhouse is the Bach Stradivarius. Pretty much every pro owns one.
