What can I say to a restaurant manager to get an interview?

Im going in for an interview or an oppointment with the manager of the job i want to get?

  • i want to know what do i say i really need this job like very bad and i dont want to mess it up could anyone plz help me out

  • Answer:

Learn as much as possible about the company, be knowledgeable about it and ask questions. Interviewers mark it as a bad response when they ask if you have any questions and you say "no." Also never ask about salary, let them tell you first. When they ask about weaknesses, make your weakness (try not to state more than one!) sound like a positive; e.g, I am so focused I sometimes tune out other people talking so I may not hear someone asking me a question the first time, something like that. And never badmouth a previous employer!

what you wear, smile, groom... But if you want a job be yourself in a professional manner and remember that they don't have to hire you. you are selling yourself to them... research the company if you can on line or find a similar business.. know the competition... And try not to make the interview like I need this job... or I want these hours.. in the food industry it is a 7 days a week job so what they offer you take it and don't fuss about it... I hate it as a hiring manager when people say one thing do another after they are hired... Because being in the service industry we don't have holidays or specific monday through friday job.... Good luck
