Your mom's insurance can't cut you off. New rules from the Affordable Health Care Act make it so that insurance companies must carry dependents until age 26, regardless if you're a student or not.

As others said, your mother's medical insurance is obligated to offer you coverage until you are 26. But, if you've been kicked off it by your mom, then that is moot. You apply for individual coverage through insurance companies. Also, your student health center will offer basic care and may even offer an insurance program that covers what they miss (like hospitalizations, urgent care, etc).
