How long is an rn to bsn program?

    Yes, in order to do the RN-BSN program you must be an RN already. They have these programs for people who got their Associate's in nursing or other alternative nursing diploma and became an RN through those programs, but now want to further their education with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. For a high school student wanting to be a nurse, I would recommend doing the Bachelor's in nursing when you get to college, because having a Bachelor's allows you greater opportunity for advancement in your career and if you want a Master's later most programs will require you have your Bachelor's in nursing to even apply. The Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) should take the 4 years that any other major in college will take to complete.
