How to become an EMT in New Jersey?

  • Answer:

No. EMTs have no training in taking care of all the personal needs of patients. Paramedics don't either. Find a good CNA training course. CMS requires no less than 75 hours and many are around 150 hours and should have lots of hands on. According to the link posted in the previous post, NJ requires at least 90 hours. More is better and no shortcuts to where you mess up the patient by incompetence due to lack of training.
