What is difference between computer science major and business major ?

My son was 2 years collage in computer science; he told me today, he wants to change business major. Because hard for him to study. He was immigrant in US 3 years ago. We don’t speak ...show more

Business major is definitely easier to study if your son find mathematics and science modules difficult. But business degree courses requires HUGE amount of essay writing if English is a problem for him in computer science, a business major would be worst. What is he finding difficult in computer sciences class that will be the first thing to find out. Also a more specific degree will fetch a higher pay (but not always), personal experience.. I earn more with an associates degree in Information Technology then my friends who went the more generic business path.
