  These work from home offers that promise big bucks answering surveys are a load of crap. For one thing they promise it’s free to sign up. True enough, they are. Here’s the rub. They pay pennies. Anywhere from .20 - .75 cents for just a few minutes (try 30 min.) of your time. Some of them will offer as much as $2.75 or more (and they’re rare) but those ones you actually have to make a purchase on the trial product. Say $4.99 for a product plus shipping and handling, which will run you another 2-3 bucks; just to earn a lousy $2.75 Unless you’re a proficient typist it’s going to take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour even longer to get through one survey. How much is your time worth? Would you take a job paying even $1.00 an hour? Here’s another rub. Many of the surveys require you to subscribe to a trial period to earn the $0.40 or pay shipping and handling. I invest for a living, a $0.40 return for putting up $1.00 is a lousy investment. When you do these surveys, you have to enter your personal information on every single survey, the survey isn’t truly a survey. It directs you to other offers for subscription or trial offers. It’s almost an endless loop of website memberships, email solicitations and some even ask for your S.S. number. That’s a red flag in a day of computer hacking and identity theft. These offers and trials are all duplicated in the other surveys. You’ll run across the same offers in every so called survey. Another rub is, your email is part of the information you have to enter. This means your email box is going to be loaded with another offer redirected from a form you filled out doing this survey crap. You’ll get an email in your mail box before you even complete the email. The success tactics offered in their forums suggest posting on social net working sites like Yahoo, Youtube, Myspace, etc. If you refer a friend via your social networking site, or any other means, they’ll be faced with the same crap as you have to undergone. You then become a thorn in another persons side because they now have to jump through the same hoops as you do just to earn .40 for an hour of mouse clicking and typing. If you have no life and aren’t worried about carpal tunnel syndrome go for it, otherwise it’s a complete waste of time.
