  Is it difficult -- your nature is driven with communication and business in mind, then no - it's not hard. For me it was really, really easy. For my husband, an engineer who had to take a business class in college, it was torture. What kind of classes -- intro levels will just introduce you to what marketing does. Advanced levels will go into how they do it. As for jobs -- it's a toss-up. Personally I think that if you want to get into business fields like this, don't just stick to one, specific major. Go broad like communication or business. It makes it easier to mold your experience into the job opening. Maybe in 2 years you'll find yourself in marketing or not. It's hard to say. I worked in marketing right out of college and loved it. Unfortunately, there are really two levels of marketing jobs usually opened -- entry level (Marketing specialist) or management level (Marketing Director). I was neither but I could use my experience to get into publishing and apply my marketing skills to what I do anyway.
