Answer:
No one gets turned down for this job. No one. Do you really want to sell expensive knives that are overpriced? Do you really think they are going to pay you that salary they promise you even if you do not sell anything for a month? Vector will make their own fake reviews. All companies will do this. You have to be smart enough to catch the fake ones. Get a real job, with a real employer, that will give you real income.

Wow, I can't believe so many people are saying they are fake. Vector marketing is a real and legit company. The job you are applying for is a Cutco knife sales representative. They don't really make that clear. I'm sure the ad in the paper didn't say. Want to sell extremely expensive knives this summer?!? That's exactly what you will be doing...calling friends ,family, and neighbors and giving them a pitch to purchase a knife set that will cost more than some people's first car. They seem to usually hire young adults who are either in or getting ready for college because they know people will buy just to help them out. If you know a lot of rich people then you can make a lot of money doing this because you will make from 15 to 30% on the sale. Plus you do get paid per appointment. I'm not really sure how it works if you do a lot of appointments and NEVER sell anything. They pay you pretty good to show the knives ( about $17) so I can't really see them keeping someone for several months who is just costing them money. When I sold there were some people who definitely went weeks without selling and they never got fired so I guess it all depends. Pretty much, its an interesting experience...probably not a life long job unless you are really into sales. You should try it.
