  • Answer:

When you paint your walls try to think about the furniture... pick a colour that will be your main colour which re-appears in most of your accessories in the Living room... such as curtains, handles on your sofa, chandeliers, paintings and etc. A good tip: Add paintings to your walls to enrich your living room such as: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270392458575 Or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270392464636 There you can see at the bottom of the page an illustration of the difference a painting can make to your room. I hope you are happy with the final result of your Lounge :o)

The pale teal sounds great; why not go a shade darker or lighter for the other three walls? This will make the room look less choppy.

light beige or a lighter shade of teal

You must first decide that the colour will have to complement the suite and perhaps carpet that you already have, and are not replacing. A feature wall sounds great! There are some lovely bold prints around. However, if your suite and carpet are patterned-forget it!-Too much fuss! If your carpet and suite are plain-The worlds your oyster! Enjoy your new lounge
