    There's a game that's popular at a lot of tailgaters that you might like, especially if you are not backpacking to your site. Some people call it "corn hole", but it has other names, too. You have a wooden board with a hole cut in it as a target, then toss cloth bags full of corn (hence the name), beans or whatever through the hole. It's a bit like horseshoes, in that if both teams miss the target, the point goes to the one who was closer. You can buy the game at a lot of sporting goods stores or even department stores. A really good set will come with a convenient carrying case, and the pieces will be heavy enough not to blow away.

There is a new game called Blongo Ball. You throw 2 balls (each ball connected to a string at each end) to a pipe looking frame. The frame has 3 levels. The balls will wrap around the levels. You can try to knock off the opponents string of balls or try to get better score by aiming for a higher point level. Very fun! I played this once at a rock crawling club party and it was hilarious (especially for those who were drinking)!

well, you don't necessarily need to play games, try carving and other bushcraft stuff, very useful, especially in an emergency.
