Where to find private, mountain camping in North/South Carolina?

your best bet is to find a national forest around the area. I did go to a campground not to private but we didn't see anyone.. bear den on the blue ridge in spruce pine NC. look for something that has wilderness camping that's what you rlooking for if youwant the primitive camping style no electric no water. = best time of your life... got engaged on a trip like that. and just got back from doing a group trip with 9 people of the same stuff but less of the private aspects. lol Have fun!
