I accidentaly clicked the don't save my contacts on thios computer button and it erased all my contacts on msn. i only clicked it because it wasnt adding any of my new contacts ...show more

System restart- start for vista just write sys... and open it follow the instrucions given on the screen choose a recovery date last known time you know of that your computer had contacts and for windows it's in start all programs and in maintence i believe

Try unchecking the "Don't save my contacts" box. That's the only thing I can think of. Restart Windows Live messenger after that's done. -Tony
