How to get rid of the msn messenger virus?

I got this virus from MSN LIVE messenger, how do I get rid of it?

    You should probably run a whole computer scan with an anti-virus system. If you don't have one, you can purchase one, or dowload free versions. One free anti-virus is AVG Anti-Virus Free. Then just run a quick full computer scan, it will scan for any dangers/warnings the anti-virus thinks will be harmful to your computer, and then it will lock it in a virus vault or delete/remove the virus from your computer. See if that works. Then maybe try deleting the program MSN Live Messenger again, and re-installing it if you want to. Hope this helps :)
