I know exactly what you're talking about. When I've been on MSN a couple times, my one friend would apparently sign on, send me a mysterious link, and then sign off right away. (Of course it's not really them, but a virus. It usally comes up newyearsevepics for me, or at least it used to.) But whatever you do, DO NOT click it. I made that mistake, didn't do anything else, and I think I got my sister's computer infected with a virus.
