    There are so many factors that Google takes into account while showing the search results. how many sites are there who link to your site ? what is the word they use while linking to your site ? What is the quality of the site who links to your website ? These are the things which deals with your site with other site link. Some other things are to be take into account which do not need the link of other sites to your site. How is your page designed, if your URL contains the keyword or not ?(like in your case the url contains the keyword "houseman" not house to optimize for house you should write the url like "house-man" here Google will read as "house man" and there are chances you may get your website when someone typed "house" in search box your site may come in the first page.) your keyword in title or not ? how many times is your keyword used in the site ? How old is the website ?( the older site using "house" as keyword will shown on top then the newer sites in Google search page) I would like to advise you that go for long key-phrases means having more than one word in the key-phrases. like "house man".
