How long does it usually take for an item to go on sale?

Hi, i got an item on ebay for sale, it ends in 2 days but been made a good offer if take it off auction?

    Hi You could close the auction on the item, and re-list the item as a 'buy it now' at that price. That way the person can buy it. However this is a lot of hassle and will cost you money. Seeing as the auction only has 2 days to go you should just get this person to bid on the item. ps make sure only to accept payment through Paypal and never never send the item out before you have the cash (unfortunately there are a lot of scams)

If you go ahead and do this you it is against ebay rules and you risk exclusion. The best idea is to change your ebay item to a BIN (buy it now option) so that your prospective buyer can purchase the item earlier or you can just leave it to run its course. I would just advise your buyer that you thank him or her for their offer but prefer to let the auction run its course. If they are really interested they will probably wait and bid.

You can't really. If they want to buy it tell them to make a bid. If they aren't willing to do that then it's most likely a scam. Don't do any sells outside of ebay because if you get scammed they have NO control over it.

All you gotta do it get the persons Email, Then through paypal send them a bill, They can pay you and you can sell it to them.

I think you offer it to the buyer on a "buy it now" price. I also have an item on ebay and have just been asked how much to buy and end auction early !
