How to you build a rail that you can grind with a snowboard?

What can i put on my snowboard rail other than metal to make it able to grind?

i have metal but i cant get the peices on there. Im trying to figure out something elese i can put on there. HELP!!!

PVC piping works great! just get a couple 2 or 3 inch ones and put them side by side. They can be drilled into easily and they slide great!
