What happens if snowboard is too big or small?

What happens if I use a smaller snowboard than my normal size?

• I usually ride a 146-148 and i dont have money for rentals and was thinking of using my old 132 snowboard. is that gonna make a huge difference? does it make it faster or slower?

  Ya you will definatley notice a difference between the two boards especially if you wiegh more now than when u last used the 132. However you will also notice that the 132 is easier to control, its lighter and easier to bring around if you are doing rotations. I think you are going to have fun ridin the 132 because now its like a little jib stick compared to what you are used to riding.
