How do I file taxes with two separate w2's from the same employer?

My employer switched payrolls in the middle of the year last year and so we're getting two separate w2's from her..how do I fil for two separate w2's coming from the same ...show more

If you're using software, enter each W-2 individually but on the same return. If you're doing it manually on paper, add them up.

attach both W2's to the same tax return and add the amounts and put them into the appropriate boxes for example, gross income (add the amounts from the W2), income tax withheld (add the amounts from the W2)
