  • Answer:

It's a great place. The weather is much the same as Vancouver - sometimes a little more snow in the winter, but not too much different. Have you googled up Chilliwack? There is a newspaper there - you can read it online and that will tell you lots about the place. It's also close to Cultus Lake, which is a lovely spot for boating, swimming and all those other nice summertime activities.

Other answers

Low elevation (almost sea level), warm summers, mild winters, high humidity, lots of farms and ranches, high smog levels on some days because of the winds blowing inland from Vancouver, close to the mountains, close to the US border, considered part of the bible belt. You don't mention what part of AZ you're from, but its a good bet that it will be radically different from Mesa, Phoenix, Tucson, Scottsdale, Flagstaff, etc. Different food, customs, etc. Not very many Hispanic people, the Native people have different culture than the Navajo, Hopi, Apache and other AZ tribes. The landscape looks very different, its green almost year round. Temperatures in the summer rarely get above 80 degrees.
