Do you know something to cure inflamed eczema?

Does anyone have a cure for eczema or anything that can help it cuz it itches and then gets dry?

    I have used two different items for years. The first is a shampoo used for dandruff. It is a prescription medication called Selenium Sulfide lotion USP 2.5% I use it twice weekly on the effected area. In addtion to that I use an Avon product called Planet Spa African Shea Butter. This is a moistureizer that is really a great product. I use a small amount twice a day morning after showering and evening after showering. I have suffered with this since I was a small kid. Found these two products and ones simular work very well together to keep it under control. I have not had an outbreak in over 8 years now. I am 58 and very thankful I found these. Hope this helps

Try Vaseline - it's the best moisturizer (no chemical additives there). If it doesn't help - try Champori anti-eczema cream - it's natural and works well.

I sympathize with you! I have had eczema for years, the worst place is on my hands, as with washing or just the weather even, it itches so bad, then gets very dry and painful, the best thing i have found to take out the itch is a produce called Exorex, it is actually for psoriasis, but i find it sooths the skin, and i have tried a lot, from steroids, to hemp! It doesn't tend to help the kind of eczema you get under a ring say, but does help the dry kind(hope that makes sense)

OKay my daughter had it when she was born and what I used on her was luderium lotion and virgin olive oil mix the two together and apply it twice a day any lotion u buy that have oatmeal in it and it say for dry skin and eczema that will work for you and you most lotion down after you take a bath cause the water dries the skin out

As an everyday use of a moisturizer its good to use Aveeno. It uses an oatmel base that soothes the skin. If it gets out of hand then a creme called Triamcinolone 1.0% WORKS MIRACLES!!

Make sure you keep hydrated. Drinking plenty of water keeps your skin from getting dried out and find a lotion with Vitamin E in it. Those intensive care ones from Vaseline are usually pretty good.
