What was your son/daughter like on the first day of starting nursery?

    It is always difficult the first day to be seperated from your child, you need to be has relaxed has possible, to ensure that your child does not pick up on your own anixety, at times remove yourself and let other family members take the lead with your child,this can help. Does not work for every one though.

Don't worry.There is no need to.Children have a way of getting around.My daughter was shy and wanted to come back.I stayed for sometime telling her i am around.After half an hour i found her making friends with her classmate(desk mate).

My child was happy to have someone to play with and told me to leave, I am the one that cried and went home and cried. She was happy and told me about her day after that I never had to do anything but take her to school and she would go for breakfast.
