    Here is what I'd recommend for you...go to the libraries in your area. I'd focus on the board books for this age. If you and your child like a particular book then see if you can purchase it through amazon.com. Usually the cheapest way to go! Most decent sized libraries are "up to date" on the new books being published! Have fun! Books open doors of so many opportunities! It's fun to make your own too! A personalized bag book is easily made by using a digital camera and taking pictures of things that are meaningful to your child, adding the simple words, placing them into a sandwich bag and then stapling and taping it together. (They have lovely colored duct tape now :-) Keeps the child from being scratched because of the staples. One of the nice things about bag books is that you can change the pictures whenever you want!) Have fun!
