Is there an email address or phone number for Dropbox support?

  • I seem to have forgotten my password for Dropbox and my registered work address changed slightly. Unfortunately, email is not forwarded from the old work address to the new address. Dropbox support does not reply to my request for an address change so I can get a new password emailed.

    There are obvious security implications to that kind of request to Dropbox.  Imagine, an email "I am so and so and my Dropbox is linked to an address but can you send a reset passowrd link to this address instead?" Have you thought of asking your IT guys to give you access to your old email account for a few hours and resetting Dropbox that way?  Or even forward all emails from that account to your new account and reactivate the old one to incoming only,

Knowing how email servers work, if the domain did not change or the domain is still owned and operated by you company even if it's not in use the should be able to do the following. (The domain is the part after the @ sign) Ask you IT department if they can add an email aliases to you account if they can ask them for help adding your old email account.
