For my science project: Gave plants different liquids. Why did the coffee and herbal tea plants grow so big?
-
Plants were given: water, black coffee, herbal tea, apple juice and sprite. Plants given water obviously grew best, then coffee and then herbal tea. Why?

Answer:
Coffee has nitrogen in it and also very small amounts of phosphoric acid and potash. These are some of the same ingredients as are in fertilizers. It is a grate fertilizer and you will find that many people are collecting it from around their communities to both reduce garbage and reuse it for fertilizers. I first learned about it from my grandmother and her brother in law talking about how good it worked. They were using it years and years ago.
