Why is my paintball gun leaking co2?

My paintball gun is leaking co2 how can i stop it?

  • It is a Brass eagle paintball gun.

  • Answer:

On a brass eagle you are dealing with C02 I assume... On all steel screw in fittings make sure you have teflon tape on them. This is a basic plumbing supply available at any convenience store. Put it on every single screw in part of the gun that has to be airtight, steel hoses, gas through grip exc. Do this even if it doesn't leak as it is because it will save you a headache later when you just want to play paintball. Besides that it is going to be an o-ring problem. Make sure that there are no obviously destroied o-rings that need to be replaced. Besides obvious o-ring failures, look for excessive wear on them or swelling or contraction. Normally with o-rings, if it looks bad, it is bad. Make sure you also lube the bolt when you check it for o-ring failure.

be more specific.. where is it leaking from? from inside the gun? from the regular? or from where your screw in your tank? cuz it could be that an O-ring might have ripped/broke off or possible that an inter tube might have broke.
