Why is my Yahoo home page in german instead of english?

I need the yahoo english version. My home page is www.yahoo.com but I get www.maktoob.com. I do not want that.?

do not open yahoo.com because you will be directed to maktoob.com, instead go to us.yahoo.com. make it your homepage if you like.
