What are the quality concepts in quality management system?

Quality Management is a generic term for Quality Framework (procedures , process , tools , checklists etc)  which covers the Quality Assurance disciplines necessary  to manage the Quality of products and service in an Organization. It is most closely linked and implemented as part of ISO 9000 family of standards. The following eight main principles form the basis of QMS  : 1. Customer-Focused Organisation 2. Leadership 3. Involvement of People 4. Process Approach 5. System Approach to Management 6. Continual Improvement 7. Factual Approach to Decision Making and 8. Mutually Beneficial Supplier Relationships. However adaptation for Quality Management system varies by  both the type of company and the industry sector. So the easiest and most popular way to implement QMS in an Organization is to adopt ISO 9001 model and develop the framework according to the standards.

The ISO 9001 takes care of both- the QUALITY & SUSTAINABILITY. Also there are many QMS regimes which focus on Sustainability and are of the view that the quality increases with proper and systematic thinking and transparency in thinking and working.
