Where are the best places to work in the world from a tax ROI point of view?

• Where are the best places to work in the world from a tax effectiveness point of view. Currently I work in Ireland where income taxes appear low, but additional add-on taxes on top of income tax are laid on for social welfare, public healthcare system (despite having to pay for private health insurance too), bank bailout tax (usc) ~4% , vat (23%), car, road, property, water, Internet tax ( forthcoming) and other misc taxes, result in a take home in the region of 20-25% NET of original salary if you are lucky. The principle of all of the above are not unfair if you get services in return, but these services are not being provided. Many countries seem to have this issue where they collect vast taxes but offer little in return in the way of services. So my question is where are the best places in the world for a person to work as an employee, work reasonable hours pay reasonable tax levels and see a reasonable level of visible reliable services?

  Just about any South American or African nation. If you factor in per capita GDP, quality of life, etc. then Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan are good choices.
