What can I do with a degree in health policy administration?

I have a BS in Health Administration and am thinking about getting my Master's degree. Is it better for me to go with a Master in Health Administration or a MBA with specialization in Health Care Management?

  It comes down to the focus of your undergrad program and what you want to focus on in grad school and beyond.  Was your BS in Health Administration focused on business? Essentially, if your undergraduate education was focused on business, then an MHA may be the best option.  If your Health Administration education was less about business and more about the health aspect, then getting the business focus of an MBA in grad school may be the desired path for you. Also important is the career path you wish to follow.  If you are planning on going into something along the lines of hospital management or healthcare consulting, and are quite sure of it, then the MHA is the better path.  If you are not quite as sure of the career you want to pursue, then an MBA will probably suit you better.  If, however, you know you want to go into health, but maybe not business, have you considered a Masters of Public Health (MPH)?
