How is the SAW ride in Thorpe Park?

SAW 3 New ride at Thorpe Park Working and how long are the queues?

  • -Is it open -How long are the queues -Is it good -Etc info

  • Answer:

sorry it is not open yet i'm afraid although it does look awesome, construction started 13.09.08 and it will definitely be in business this year during spring, ques will be estimated packed for the first month. it is rated and calculated to be one of the best roller coasters in the world but actually the scariest. this was decided as a result because of its main attraction, at the start practically) there is a 100 foot near vertical slow climb followed by a 100 degree vertical drop making that the steepest free fall ever by any roller coaster. the thing iself is based around and over canada creek, i really can't wait lol P.S. best answer please =) look on you tube for Animatedd preview and www.sawtheride.com for great interactive previews, btw when i sed spring i ment last week but it malfunctioned and it should in the next 1 - 3 weeks hopefully =)

SAW-the ride is open and working, the queues are nearly 2.5hours long on busy days and the ride is amazing.

it should be open now, first day it was open broke down a couple times, so maybe they delayed the opening, but according to screamscape.com it is open now and lines are probably 60-120 minute wait. but never been to a theme park in Europe so cant tell ya.

The queue is about 4hours Once the longest ever rollercoasters queue was 15 hours on saw

-Is it open? It was when I went last week, and the website doesn't say it's closed so yes, I would assume it is open. -How long are the queues? Depends on the day, if you're going on a school day then the queue tends to vary from around 1-2 hours. If you go during the holidays then it would be even longer I'm afraid! -Is it good? Well, that's all down to the individuals preference. I personally preferred Stealth, but others will prefer Saw. I felt they could've done better with the theming, and the ride didn't really seem to reflect the film. Perhaps if they didn't try so hard to make out it was related to the film, then it might've been more enjoyable. Atm I think it's overrated, I'm not saying it's a bad ride because it is good, but not as good as they're making it out. Stealth didn't get this much hype and I think that made it more enjoyable because you weren't thinking how good it was gonna be, but with Saw you were and I was a bit let down especially since I queued an hour for it! ....right sorry for the rant! -Etc info? Ummm not much else to say, I think I've said enough lol.
