history is quite intriguing to study & one of my fave in hi-school the tip here is to "keep the intrigue alive" w/ in you; most test involve memorization of WHO, WHAT, & WHEN meaning, dates & persons in events are more often used as questions in history exams i bet that you tend to forget them that's why well in order for you to remember dates & persons & places; the best question that should linger in your mind is the WHY all occurences in the past no matter how small always happened for some reason for example; why did WWII started? or why did the US go to war w/ fidel castro? until you haven't got the grasp of these things all details you see in books are just letters & numbers that don't really make sense to you the question is WHY
